Across the bay residential care home is a well established care home in the heart of Morecambe for over 30 years which has recently come under new management in October 2019, Since then the home has gained an excellent reputation amongst Health Care professionals and residents for a high standard of personal care with a homely and friendly ambience. The team has successfully run other care homes which have been granted a good rating by the CQC.
Our core values are to uphold honesty, communicate effectively, work as a partnership and be empathetic. We believe that these values allow residents to feel fulfilled and comfortable at our homes. Staff members are intensively trained to adopt skills which allow them to adhere to our core values.
My dad has been a resident for a number of years and as a family we have to say the care has been exceptional.
The staff are well qualified, friendly and respectful.

To ensure the standard of care is always excellent we continue to invest into staff training and refurbishment of our facilities. This is in line with the person centred approach we have adapted by enabling staff members to care for individual needs of residents and ensure their goals are met.

We understand the importance of family support therefore we encourage families to be involved in the residents care as much as possible. For example, having a suggestions box where family members may add suggestions of ways they would like us to improve the care for their loved ones.
